Customer Rules
Last updated: September 2026
1. Using QuickConnekt
Customers must use QuickConnekt honestly, lawfully and respectfully.
Customers must provide accurate information when creating an account, requesting a service or making a booking.
Customers must not create accounts or submit bookings using false identities or misleading information.
2. Account Information
Customers are responsible for keeping their account information accurate and up to date.
Customers must keep their login credentials and verification information secure.
Customers must not allow another person to use their account in a way that could mislead QuickConnekt or a service provider about who is making a booking.
3. Booking Services
Customers should carefully review a service listing before making a booking.
Before confirming a booking, customers should check the available service description, provider information, price, date and time and any other relevant information displayed by QuickConnekt.
Customers should only make bookings that they genuinely intend to use.
4. Providing Accurate Booking Details
Customers must provide information reasonably required for the provider to perform the service.
Depending on the service, this may include:
- the correct service address;
- accurate contact information;
- access instructions;
- relevant service requirements;
- the correct date and time; and
- other information reasonably necessary to complete the booking.
Providing incorrect information may result in the provider being unable to perform the service and may affect cancellation or refund rights.
5. Being Available for the Booking
Customers are expected to be available at the agreed location and time for services that require the customer's presence.
Customers should ensure that the provider can reasonably access the location when access is required to perform the service.
If a customer knows that they will not be available, they should use the applicable cancellation or rescheduling process as soon as possible.
6. Communication With Providers
Customers should communicate with service providers respectfully and provide information reasonably necessary to arrange the booking.
Customers must not use QuickConnekt communication features to harass, threaten, intimidate, discriminate against or abuse another person.
Customers should keep important booking-related communication reasonably clear and accurate.
7. Payments
Customers must make required payments through the payment method supported by QuickConnekt for the relevant booking.
Customers must not attempt to manipulate, reverse or interfere with a legitimate payment transaction.
Where card payment is used, the transaction may be processed through QuickConnekt's appointed payment service provider.
Customers should not provide payment-card information to a provider unless this is specifically required and independently appropriate for the particular service.
8. Do Not Circumvent QuickConnekt
Customers should not use QuickConnekt to identify a provider and then deliberately bypass the platform in order to avoid applicable QuickConnekt booking, payment or transaction requirements.
Customers and providers may communicate information necessary to arrange a service, but users must not intentionally use the platform to facilitate fraud, payment avoidance or other prohibited activity.
9. Cancellations
Customers should cancel a booking as soon as they know that they will not be able to proceed.
Customers should use the cancellation functionality provided by QuickConnekt rather than simply failing to attend.
The financial consequences of a cancellation may depend on the circumstances and are explained in the Cancellation & Refund Policy.
10. Postponements and Rebooking
If a provider requests a postponement, the customer should respond through the QuickConnekt booking process.
Where a rebooking option is provided, customers should use that process rather than creating a second booking for the same original service.
A rebooking may retain the original booking and payment history while changing the applicable date and time.
11. Service Completion
When a provider marks a service as completed, customers should review the service and respond through the QuickConnekt completion process.
If the service was completed as agreed, the customer may confirm completion where that functionality is available.
If there is a genuine problem with the service, the customer should report the issue promptly rather than incorrectly confirming completion.
12. Customer Confirmation and Four-Hour Response Period
QuickConnekt may provide a customer confirmation process after a provider marks a booking as completed.
Customers should respond within the applicable response period if they need to report a genuine problem.
If a customer does not respond during the applicable response period, the booking may proceed toward provider payout in accordance with QuickConnekt's payment and dispute procedures.
Customers should therefore report genuine service problems as soon as possible after completion.
13. Reporting a Service Problem
Customers may report a service issue through the available QuickConnekt support or dispute process.
A customer reporting an issue should provide a truthful and reasonably detailed explanation.
Supporting information may be requested where reasonably necessary to investigate the matter.
14. False or Abusive Complaints
Customers must not deliberately submit false complaints, fabricate evidence or falsely claim that a service was not provided in order to obtain a refund or prevent a legitimate provider payout.
Genuine mistakes or misunderstandings should be reported honestly.
15. Respect for Service Providers
Customers must treat service providers and other people involved in a booking with reasonable respect.
Customers must not:
- threaten or intimidate a provider;
- harass or repeatedly contact a provider inappropriately;
- use abusive or discriminatory language;
- make deliberately false allegations;
- damage a provider's property; or
- request unlawful services.
16. Safe Service Environment
Customers should provide a reasonably safe environment for providers where the service is performed at a customer's location.
Customers should inform the provider of relevant conditions that could reasonably affect the provider's ability to perform the service safely.
Customers must not knowingly expose providers to unreasonable hazards or unsafe conditions.
17. Lawful Use of Services
Customers may only request services for lawful purposes.
Customers must not use QuickConnekt to request or arrange services that would require a provider to participate in unlawful activity.
18. Reviews and Ratings
Where QuickConnekt provides ratings or reviews, customers should submit honest and fair feedback based on their actual experience.
Customers must not use reviews to threaten, extort, harass or deliberately mislead another user.
Customers must not submit reviews for services they did not actually receive.
19. Personal Information
Customers may receive personal information about service providers as part of arranging a booking.
Customers must use such information only for legitimate purposes connected with the booking and must not misuse, publish, sell or distribute another person's personal information without a lawful reason.
20. Account Security
Customers are responsible for protecting their QuickConnekt account credentials.
Customers should immediately report suspected unauthorised access or suspicious account activity through the available QuickConnekt support channels.
21. Prohibited Customer Conduct
Customers must not use QuickConnekt to:
- commit fraud;
- create fake bookings;
- use stolen or unauthorised payment information;
- attempt to obtain services without legitimate payment;
- manipulate booking or payment systems;
- impersonate another customer;
- access another person's account;
- harass or threaten providers or other users;
- submit intentionally false information;
- request unlawful services;
- interfere with the platform's technical operation; or
- use QuickConnekt for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose.
22. Account Restrictions
QuickConnekt may restrict, suspend or terminate a customer's account where reasonably necessary because of fraud, serious misuse, unlawful activity, repeated violations of these rules, security concerns or other legitimate platform-protection reasons.
Any action taken by QuickConnekt remains subject to applicable law and the customer's legal rights.
23. Booking Records
QuickConnekt may retain booking, payment, communication and dispute records for purposes including transaction administration, customer support, fraud prevention, financial reconciliation, dispute resolution and legal compliance.
Deleting a customer account does not necessarily result in immediate deletion of records that QuickConnekt is required or permitted to retain.
24. Customer Responsibility for Guests or Other Persons
If a customer makes a booking involving another person, the customer remains responsible for providing accurate booking information and ensuring that the relevant person understands any requirements that reasonably apply to the booking.
Customers should not use another person's personal information without appropriate authority.
25. Support and Complaints
Customers should contact QuickConnekt through the available support channels when they experience a booking, payment, account or service problem.
Customers should provide the booking reference and relevant details when requesting assistance.
